Inspiration

Inspiration

This is the week that  I have an opportunity to saw 2 VDO clip from my teacher. All of the VDO can be made the inspiration to other people that saw that two clips. There made an inspiration for me too.



The fist VDO clip is about Seann Miley More. He is 24 years old and came from Australia. The reason why that he came to London for the x-factor (competition about singing). He has family in this town but doesn't see each other for 10 years he use this chance to visit his family and singing on x-factor reality. He is not a real man but he always confident in himself observed from the things that he has worn like a skirt, bodysuit, high heels. I love the phrase that he said: "be who you are". It made me have a sprite to be myself I don't want to change myself. Sometimes I try to be changed but I already knew that just wast of time.



About the VDO 2, Father that has a big heart to take care of his son. His son can't speak and move. The father much takes care of his son all the time  One day his son wants to run on a marathon competition. They run together by the father took his son on a wheelchair then shove the street. Another station are swimming in the lagoon and ride a bicycle every station the father still keep his son besides. People around the marathon area applaud to them every station. After the VDO was shared on social media that can make inspiration to other so much. I love the relationship of the father and his son because not many dads will strengthen both body and heart like this. Two people cand make me thinking about my self too much. I the future if I feel bad I will be bake to see this VDO again.

Week 11

Week 10 : Back to university
First week, that I came back to University. We started the class normally and every subject gave we to do the test. It made us was surprised very much because we not have the time to prepare the test.
I'm happy to comeback and learning to the university again. One thing that I think, I will focus when I learn very much because, my experience teach me that when teacher taught if we made a noise in the classroom the teacher will feel bad.
I want to do my duty at now to be happy all the time because I think will not happy like this time that I  am a student.
This week we have to sent our work like daily , lesson plans, teaching VDO and reflect from my observation in the school in Google classroom. We don't have the midterm test that is sounds good.
In Wednesday we were a traditional skirt to learn Thai study in English subject. We want to encourage our traditional and we will wear it every week.
Thank you to let me comeback. I will not forget all things of my school. After observing at school, my dream was destroyed by one month. I saw the real situation about our education.

Week 10

Week 9
The last week for observation at Upon witthayakom school.
           
I'm waiting for this week so much because I really tried from this point. My students were obstinate too much. I tried to design my class to be the best my students but it seems to fail.  Although that observed is just 1 mount but my feelings like a long time. This is the last week to do everything that hard for example about the writing a diary every day, writing a normal information about the school, writing the blogger about the 500 words, writing the lesson plan and make a material for teaching.




For this week I have taught the students of grade 6/8 to follow my lesson plans.

8. Learning Activities
Warm up  (15 min)
1.      Greeting and review knowledge from last week.
2.      A student does the activity for stimulating their brain. The activities name's thumb and little finger. It stimulates the brain that is ordered to balance the left and right. Raise both hands. One thumb and one little finger then bank switching about 10.

Presentation (10 min)
1.      A teacher tells the structure of how to use “want”
Subject + want+ object+ to + verb.
2.      The teacher gives an example bars.
Jame wants Sally to come to my house.
I want my mom to make fire rice for dinner.
I want Keng to tidy classroom.
Mom wants Saifa to stop talking.
I want my sister to help me to do homework.

Practice (20 min)
1.      Divide students into 5 groups. Each group about  7-8 people.
2.      Give the sentence bars to the student ( Question and answer) then match.
(1)   What did his mom want him to make yesterday.?
I want my mom to make fire rice for dinner.
(2)   What did Joe want his sister to help?
Joe's sister helps him to do homework.
(3)   What does mom want Saifa to do?        
She wants Saifa to stop talking.
(4)   What does Jame want Sally to do?
He wants she come to his home.
Production (15)
1.      Student presents their sentences in front of a class. (by a volunteer).
2.      Answer the questions simultaneously.
3.      Do a test.

My class was good. The students are interesting to my activities. I use this lesson plan for 2 class. I saw the different things at this point like one class going good but one class going fail. Because one class have an old knowledge and one seem don’t understand anything.

Academic camp

Week 9 

This week I want to talk about our academic camp. "Teenager understand about sex"

Objectives
1. Students can understand the different sex between men or women.
2.  Students Know how to manage the bad situation that will make sex.




In the morning
Firstly, That time is about the ceremonial. Then we have a little show for the students like dances the recreation song to let the student enjoyment. We also have the activities for dissolve behavior of the student. I divide them into 5 group. They create their name and posture of the team.
Namely
1.       Handsome man
2.       Bangtan band
3.       Good students
4.       Cool team
5.       Just a one book 

          Next, We give a knowledge to students respectively. We have 5 topics viz
1.The difference between sexual.
2.How to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex.
3.Pregnancy prevention
4.Sexually transmitted disease
5. How to demeanor with another gender.

1.The difference between sexual.
knowledge about how the boy and girl grow up. We have a clip VDO to show them for more understanding. We show little things that we thing student still don’t know and they should know.

2.How to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex.
This topic talks about how to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex. We show a VDO Clips about the example of the situation. Let them know a refusal skill. 

3.Pregnancy prevention
This topic is very sensitives in Thailand. Wherewith nowadays Thailand have a number of a girl was pregnancy premature. We show the VDO clips to let them see a real situation. They should know the problem, then know coping with the problem and interpolation. Moreover, We teach how to use the condom incorrectly and let the student know the type of birth control pill and how to use it.

4.Sexually transmitted disease
For this one, we teach them by giving a knowledge information first, For example, AIDS, chlamydia infection, condyloma acuminate, genital herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis, chancroid. Then Move the real situation come to the auditorium. The activities name is Change water. Teacher gives a glass of water and any gasses have chemicals. Student changes the water in a pair. Then change to other. After that, the teacher drops chemicals. If the water in glass change color to purple it means students infected. This activity means if the student has a sex without protection they will be infected.

              5. How to demeanor with another gender.
The last topic, we teach by show VDO again.

At noon
                We create a learning base about 5 bases. Then let each group go to do many activities at each base.


I’m glad to have a chance to do this. I have learned many things from this camp like planning, troubleshooting, working with others etc. I am very happy after the camp finish. I want to say thank you again and again for my team. Thank you all who have encouraged us. This is a big experience.

Feel like a freshmen

Week 8 Feel like a freshmen

My observation on week two going funny. Each day has an interesting point. Some moment made me want to stop everything to do. But sometimes made me feel good and change my attitude.







Monday, Today a student on grade 6 go to the Chaloem Phra Kiat auditorium. All students from grade 6 came for pay activities. Students and teachers made merit, listen to the sermon, take an oath to observe the moral together. This activity for preparing students for learning. 
I have an opportunity to co-teaching with my advisor teacher. I saw many different problems. For example on first class have a big problem like the student can’t understand the lesson cause from themselves. They don't have the old knowledge. That waste time too much to teach the old lesson. I solve the problem by adding the activities to attract the student. On another hand, the second class is very easy to teach. A student can understand the lesson and active in learning everything.





On the second day of this week, I was observed about the management structure of the school. The school administration structure is as follows. The director administrates with the deputy director while sending commands to each party like academic department, finance, General administration etc. Management is done together with a parent, student council.

The third day, I was co-teaching with my advisor teacher again. We teach in English subject for grade 6. My trainer use chain to control the class
            Teacher: 1 2 3 Look at me
            Student: 1 2 3 Look at you
That technique can control the class to be quiet

On Friday, Today is a reflection day. Observation student goes to the university for reflecting on what we have learned observation at the school. The teacher lets volunteer each school talk about the problem that they are found at the school. For my school saw a little problem.
1.         About the canteen, The canteen is unsanitary because of the student. In this school have a student about 2,000 people. Have grade 1-6. The student is very young so after day eat they don’t keep their dish cause the canteen has many birds to eating waste food.
2.         In the classroom, My classroom doesn’t have a projector and a loudspeaker. I think that two is important to teaching and learning. I want to show the new knowledge for my student. I want to open the powerpoint that I prepare for some subject. I want to use the VDO clips to adapt to my warm-up activity. Then I want to let the student play game, application about the application.
From this week I really excited that I come to the university. My feel like a freshman as a first-year student. I very tired from the work in a school. I love my university. I miss my friends. I learn to be more patient. I think this times I practice so hard and in the future, I will be a professional. Thank you, my friends and my teacher, for supporting and encourage me. Now I have a fire to fight with all problems.
