This week I feel like I'm a child again.

I love this week the most since I learned this subject. I fail I'm a child again because the lesson this week was about the songs for kids. We learned how to sing and act for appeal the student in primary grade. We prepare to present the song for kids in each group. Each group did the best performance and can be made other happy. Then We sang the "green grass grow song. for dissolve behavior before we do the final project with the merge grope.

I have been an opportunity to go to the  Ubon Ratchathani National Museum. The National Museum is located just south of the City Pillar Shrine and Thung Si Muang Park off Khuan Thani Rd. If the gate on Khuan Thani across from Wat Si Ubon Rattanaram is locked, take a few steps north and hang a right towards the City Pillar Shrine, and you’ll see the museum’s main (but rather hidden) entrance on the right.

In each room have a different story about the history of Ubon Ratchathani or near province like the period of history, the device for live a life of the ancestor,  the civilization etc. 

The most that I was interested in the museum is the Stegodon’s ivory. It was found at Ban Lad Ya Kha, Khammarat district, Ubon Ratchathani. The length is 2.4 meters and the age about 1.6 million years in the Pleistocene epoch. It made me amazed that how we met and why we met it in our province.

This week is going normally like every week. I have an opportunity to learn with a new English teacher. And I have got a new knowledge from other subjects. 

I have learned with the new foreigner teacher in Innovation subject 2. Everything going well his profile is very cool and his technique to teaching student is good but I can't understand something because he told very fast. I still want to listen to the fast sound of him because I want to practice myself to familiar with the foreign accent. It' will good for me.

Another subject like a Cultural subject, I have learned about the small culture and big culture of each continent like Asia, Europe, Africa, and America. In each continent have a different culture that lesson made me understand many things. That all is important to me at now or in the future that I will be a teacher. If I understand other cultures my work or the way to teach my student will go well.

And this subject, I have to know about the new application its name "Quizizz". I was surprised that why I don't know this app before I went to observation at the school. Because of that application is very benefits for teaching a student. It different from Kahoot that the question will show on our screen. I think it easy for the student that is myopia.

Inspiration

Inspiration

This is the week that  I have an opportunity to saw 2 VDO clip from my teacher. All of the VDO can be made the inspiration to other people that saw that two clips. There made an inspiration for me too.

The fist VDO clip is about Seann Miley More. He is 24 years old and came from Australia. The reason why that he came to London for the x-factor (competition about singing). He has family in this town but doesn't see each other for 10 years he use this chance to visit his family and singing on x-factor reality. He is not a real man but he always confident in himself observed from the things that he has worn like a skirt, bodysuit, high heels. I love the phrase that he said: "be who you are". It made me have a sprite to be myself I don't want to change myself. Sometimes I try to be changed but I already knew that just wast of time.

About the VDO 2, Father that has a big heart to take care of his son. His son can't speak and move. The father much takes care of his son all the time  One day his son wants to run on a marathon competition. They run together by the father took his son on a wheelchair then shove the street. Another station are swimming in the lagoon and ride a bicycle every station the father still keep his son besides. People around the marathon area applaud to them every station. After the VDO was shared on social media that can make inspiration to other so much. I love the relationship of the father and his son because not many dads will strengthen both body and heart like this. Two people cand make me thinking about my self too much. I the future if I feel bad I will be bake to see this VDO again.

Week 11

Week 10 : Back to university

First week, that I came back to University. We started the class normally and every subject gave we to do the test. It made us was surprised very much because we not have the time to prepare the test.

I'm happy to comeback and learning to the university again. One thing that I think, I will focus when I learn very much because, my experience teach me that when teacher taught if we made a noise in the classroom the teacher will feel bad.

I want to do my duty at now to be happy all the time because I think will not happy like this time that I  am a student.

This week we have to sent our work like daily , lesson plans, teaching VDO and reflect from my observation in the school in Google classroom. We don't have the midterm test that is sounds good.

In Wednesday we were a traditional skirt to learn Thai study in English subject. We want to encourage our traditional and we will wear it every week.

Thank you to let me comeback. I will not forget all things of my school. After observing at school, my dream was destroyed by one month. I saw the real situation about our education.

The last week for observation at Upon witthayakom school.

           

I'm waiting for this week so much because I really tried from this point. My students were obstinate too much. I tried to design my class to be the best my students but it seems to fail.  Although that observed is just 1 mount but my feelings like a long time. This is the last week to do everything that hard for example about the writing a diary every day, writing a normal information about the school, writing the blogger about the 500 words, writing the lesson plan and make a material for teaching.

For this week I have taught the students of grade 6/8 to follow my lesson plans.

My class was good. The students are interesting to my activities. I use this lesson plan for 2 class. I saw the different things at this point like one class going good but one class going fail. Because one class have an old knowledge and one seem don’t understand anything.

Academic camp

Week 9 

This week I want to talk about our academic camp. "Teenager understand about sex"

Objectives

1. Students can understand the different sex between men or women.

2.  Students Know how to manage the bad situation that will make sex.

In the morning

Firstly, That time is about the ceremonial. Then we have a little show for the students like dances the recreation song to let the student enjoyment. We also have the activities for dissolve behavior of the student. I divide them into 5 group. They create their name and posture of the team.

5.       Just a one book 

          Next, We give a knowledge to students respectively. We have 5 topics viz

1.The difference between sexual.

2.How to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex.

3.Pregnancy prevention

4.Sexually transmitted disease

5. How to demeanor with another gender.

1.The difference between sexual.

knowledge about how the boy and girl grow up. We have a clip VDO to show them for more understanding. We show little things that we thing student still don’t know and they should know.

2.How to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex.

This topic talks about how to save ourselves from a risk situation for sex. We show a VDO Clips about the example of the situation. Let them know a refusal skill. 

3.Pregnancy prevention

This topic is very sensitives in Thailand. Wherewith nowadays Thailand have a number of a girl was pregnancy premature. We show the VDO clips to let them see a real situation. They should know the problem, then know coping with the problem and interpolation. Moreover, We teach how to use the condom incorrectly and let the student know the type of birth control pill and how to use it.

4.Sexually transmitted disease

For this one, we teach them by giving a knowledge information first, For example, AIDS, chlamydia infection, condyloma acuminate, genital herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis, chancroid. Then Move the real situation come to the auditorium. The activities name is Change water. Teacher gives a glass of water and any gasses have chemicals. Student changes the water in a pair. Then change to other. After that, the teacher drops chemicals. If the water in glass change color to purple it means students infected. This activity means if the student has a sex without protection they will be infected.

              5. How to demeanor with another gender.

The last topic, we teach by show VDO again.

At noon

                We create a learning base about 5 bases. Then let each group go to do many activities at each base.

I’m glad to have a chance to do this. I have learned many things from this camp like planning, troubleshooting, working with others etc. I am very happy after the camp finish. I want to say thank you again and again for my team. Thank you all who have encouraged us. This is a big experience.

Feel like a freshmen

Week 8 Feel like a freshmen

My observation on week two going funny. Each day has an interesting point. Some moment made me want to stop everything to do. But sometimes made me feel good and change my attitude.

Monday, Today a student on grade 6 go to the Chaloem Phra Kiat auditorium. All students from grade 6 came for pay activities. Students and teachers made merit, listen to the sermon, take an oath to observe the moral together. This activity for preparing students for learning. 
I have an opportunity to co-teaching with my advisor teacher. I saw many different problems. For example on first class have a big problem like the student can’t understand the lesson cause from themselves. They don't have the old knowledge. That waste time too much to teach the old lesson. I solve the problem by adding the activities to attract the student. On another hand, the second class is very easy to teach. A student can understand the lesson and active in learning everything.

On the second day of this week, I was observed about the management structure of the school. The school administration structure is as follows. The director administrates with the deputy director while sending commands to each party like academic department, finance, General administration etc. Management is done together with a parent, student council.

The third day, I was co-teaching with my advisor teacher again. We teach in English subject for grade 6. My trainer use chain to control the class

On Friday, Today is a reflection day. Observation student goes to the university for reflecting on what we have learned observation at the school. The teacher lets volunteer each school talk about the problem that they are found at the school. For my school saw a little problem.

1.         About the canteen, The canteen is unsanitary because of the student. In this school have a student about 2,000 people. Have grade 1-6. The student is very young so after day eat they don’t keep their dish cause the canteen has many birds to eating waste food.

2.         In the classroom, My classroom doesn’t have a projector and a loudspeaker. I think that two is important to teaching and learning. I want to show the new knowledge for my student. I want to open the powerpoint that I prepare for some subject. I want to use the VDO clips to adapt to my warm-up activity. Then I want to let the student play game, application about the application.

From this week I really excited that I come to the university. My feel like a freshman as a first-year student. I very tired from the work in a school. I love my university. I miss my friends. I learn to be more patient. I think this times I practice so hard and in the future, I will be a professional. Thank you, my friends and my teacher, for supporting and encourage me. Now I have a fire to fight with all problems.

Week 7

The miracle of student life

Learning all time 

This week is a first time that I go to the observation teaching at Ubon Wittayakom School.  I have many things to do and This time I want to talk about my first week that I living in the school.

First day

My duty is learning and observing about the general school information. Ubon Wittayakom School has a long history. Then I learning and observing about school philosophy, vision, a mission of the school, color and meaning of that color, school personnel, building and area around the school. Moreover, I introduce myself to my adviser teacher and tell the objective that why I come to the school. so we collaborative planning about the lesson and what things I must do in the school. From the first day, I really tired because everything looks disordered and I still can't remember the building and room.

Second day

        My second day going easy. I find the information about the general condition of the community around the school. In the morning I take Care for a student to clean their area. This time is a good time to make a relationship with my student. After that, I have a chance to observe the English class teaching by my adviser teacher.

Third day

This day I have to observe work in a teacher's role. For the example supervise the students to follow the rules in the classroom, student attendance tracking, measurement and evaluation, the lesson plans and innovation etc. From this day I have learned how to prepare myself before teaching. The lesson plan will consistent with the objective of learning. About how to choose the innovation to adapt to your activity let it follow the objective. The innovation is important to give a student learn the full potential and understand the content more. There are many new innovations that we can adapt to our activity. Something can use in the true situation but something can't that follow each classroom. For example, if you want to use the Kahoot to do the activity but in the classroom don't have a projector the activities cannot happen.

Last day

For this day I observe student behavior and then choose the student to write the case study. The student A is 11 years old. She from grade 6. I interest in her behavior. Because she is a diligent, intent to learn or work. She has a responsibility for her duty. She always knows her duty. From the observer, I get a little information. So, For more information, I interview her advisor teacher and then I interview her. The question that I ask her is about personal information, a background of her family health, characteristics and qualification information.

I think this observation is a big work one. How many knowledge and experience that I can touch. Each day made my beautiful life is full. I work so hard at the school and after school, I do homework that I think I don't want to do but It is my duty. Only one thing that made me want to go to the school is a student. The cheerfulness from kids can heal my daily.

This week I have learned how to use the browser name's Seesaw from W group. It's a platform for student engagement and free for teachers. I think this one encourage student engagement in the classroom. Students get excited to choose from Seesaw's creative tools. They express themselves, reflect on their learning and create a portfolio they're proud to show others. It helps the teacher focus even more on a student. Seesaw helps the teacher see and hear what students know so you can better understand their progress and give more differentiated instruction. 

My advisor teacher gives our class learn how to be a gentleman. then I'm going to orientation at Kaewkanlaya room before I go to observations teaching next week. From the orientation, Teacher guides us about how to be a good demeanor. Next is the things that we should not do. For Example, don't touch the body's student, Don't forget to prepare the lesson plan and write the daily.

I have many things to do before going to school. I'm excited about the new experience. I will go to the place that I don't know everyone. And I think I am lucky because of the school not too far but It very traffic jam.

New application to learning English

Week Five

ESL GAMES PLUS 

We use technology a lot in daily life. And we use the technology to comfort in our education. Like the application for learning English that we presented in the classroom.

This week our classroom use the application adapt work a lot. We have a big project to present and teach how to use one application that our group chooses. We choose a browser is ESL GAME PLUS. It’s very useful for learning English. It has many functions. You can practice a reading skill from the passages, listening skill from the VDO, writing skill with the error tests and speaking by replete follow the application and you will enjoy with any kinds of games.

Moreover, It has a lesson plan and test for supporting the teacher. This browser easy to use and it has another version on a smartphone. So we can use it everywhere every time.

One application that I like is plinker. This application was presented by the zombie plicker group. I thought this application is very interesting. We can use this app to check attendant of the classroom, play games and we can use it to check how many the student understand the lesson while we are teaching. We can know by the score will show only on our screen.

In summarizing I will use the application adapt to my lesson or my classroom when I going to observing in the school next week. Thank you, everyone, to share the new idea and tools for teaching English. We will improve Thailand education together.

The fourth week, I have many group work. Each work is a big project that makes my plan on the last weekend is fail. That not the big problem. I'm a fourth-year student I can manage my time. I realize my duty and make it on my best. And I just don’t live my team.  

I learn many things from other work and this subject. First, I learn the meaning of “collaboration”. It is very important for group work. You much talk to each other and plan together before doing the work. Second, I learn about the new tool is Google Docs. It is very useful to help my working. I can create, edit and collaborate with others on documents from my computer, smartphone, and tablet. It so cool that I can use it anywhere anytime. The last one I want to write about the “responsibility”. I think this word is a key to do your work or group work. You should respond for your duty, friend, team and time. It makes you look professional. 


Learning from everything that comes into my life. If it negative I will be hearing and open-minded in solving the mistake. On the other hand if it positive I will keep and apply it to my daily life. Then it time to prepare myself before I go to observe the teaching in school.

Preparation is the magic thing to make your work will be great. Today is my bad day because of our role play. I do it bad.  

Not everyone that they were compared with other and they can improve themselves but on another hand is bad for someone. It’s also like me today. I’m feeling bad from this class. If you don’t cheer me up, don’t shut me down. I do my role play not good so teacher comment to our work a lot by sound and serious face. One comment that she said is true. We won't prepare enough to show. I will keep it all and do it better than this. Learn from mistakes and move on.

I am a member of the first group to show the presentation and I do it not enough. What have I learned from today? I have many words to say a lot in the class and I can’t say anything out. We have many ways to show the presentation. For example, One group use the technique that calls Finger Puppet and another one use the Toontastic 3D program to create a cartoon and show. That all can get attention from the classmate and the teacher extremely because they think outside the box.

Week 2 of this semester, that still unpleasant. Continue from last week, I have long class and much homework that made me cannot manage time as well. Example of this subject, I think I've cleared everything up but when I come to the class again everything that I thought I have understood and the work I do was wrong.

The teacher commented on our assignment and then it made me knew something about Thai student like me. I was always thinking in the frame that I'm not aware. The teacher gave me the example on Schoology and I thought if I do my work like her I will get the good score. But I'm wrong. Looks like I'm going to copy the ideas of others.

After that, I know my wrong I try so hard to change my attitude because of that way it lives with me since I'm young. Start with edit the assignment by imagine out of the frame, don't think about the score too much Whatever the result shall be, I know I've done my best.

To summarize, I have the important lesson from this week. And I still have more homework and have a few minutes to take a rest like now I'm writing the journal and eating the old Holy basil but now I'm a cool girl that change attitude already.
